East End Bistrot is seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie.

Responsibilities

• Setting up kitchen and mise en place prior to dinner service
• Working set kitchen station with speed and skill and presenting all food to sous chef at pass
• Cooking some components of dishes from other stations during service
• Arriving prior to shift for prep
• Cleaning the kitchen before and after dinner service
• Ongoing cleaning and sanitizing of work area during service
• Correctly wrapping and storing unused items and at the end of a shift
• Keeping prep items and all items in walk-in, freezer, and line at correct temperature
• Plating food consistently and creatively
• Following and maintaining Wake County food safety standards

Experience

• Three years’ experience as chef de partie
• Excellent knife and cooking skills
• French or fine dining experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
